The thought of "Valley Flutes" and the fluffy cover had me fearing yet another New Age schlock tape to toss on the pile. Was quite happy to be wrong after giving both long-form compositions a listen. Feels more like old-school ambience with slight nods to the avant garde and psychedelia of the era. Easily my 2nd favorite come down tape from CTatsu after Prayer's "Second Species". jasonk
Reduced, simple sounds, reminiscent of minimal kankyo productions.
Slow + calming ambient with distinct patterns rather than all-encompassing fields. Karl Grundmann
An introspective record that fuses post-rock, shoegaze and ambient synth patches into a seamless array of shimmering soundscapes. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 26, 2023
This album may not break new ground, but is a wonderful example of following a well travelled path.
It exudes a life-affirming vibe from start to finish, and fills me with a sense of joy. Love it! All tracks are faves for, as they flow so well, naming a favourite would be pointless. 😎 Rinchen Choesang
